Welcome Spiritual Seeker!

The Eckankar Spiritual Center of San Antonio opened its doors to the community in 1972, providing an open environment for people of all faiths to come and share their spiritual experiences.

ECK Worship Service

Members of all faiths are invited to the ECK Worship Service on the first and third Sundays of each month from 11:00 am to noon. This one-hour event provides an opportunity to gain greater spiritual insights into life.

The second, fourth and fifth Sundays at 11:00 am feature video presentations of our Spiritual Leader's talks and discussions of spiritual topics. Youth activities for children 4 years and older are held concurrently with the adult programs.

Stop by and visit with us, pick up a free book and literature, browse our library, watch a video, or listen to some uplifting music. We are open Monday to Friday 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Community HU Song - Eckankar Spiritual Center
"Throughout the ages, followers of many spiritual traditions have used prayer, the singing of holy words, and meditation to bring themselves closer to God. In the same way, those who have discovered HU, an ancient name for God, sing it for their spiritual upliftment."
—HU, A Love Song to God Brochure, p.1

"HU is a love song to God. All that we do with the word HU is to sing it with reverence. It represents the love of God for Soul, and we are Soul.
"HU can be sung by anyone, and of any religion. It isn't meant to change your religion. HU will enhance it.
"Regardless of your beliefs or religion, you can sing HU to become happier and more secure in God's love."
—Harold Klemp, HU, The Most Beautiful Prayer, p.7

Please join us in singing our love song to God.

Free Discussion, Thursday, February 19, at the Boerne Public Library
"Everything revolves around love. It always does. No matter how much we rush about in this world and how harried, ambitious, or sorrowful we become, the world stays together for some reason. The reason is God's love.
"God's love is the fabric that draws us all and keeps us here. It makes the whole work, even though sometimes it looks like nothing is working at all.
"But how do you make this work out in everyday life?"
—Harold Klemp, Spiritual Wisdom on Relationships, p.1

Informal Discussion at LaTaza Coffee House, Saturday, February 21, 2:00 - 3:30 pm
Spiritual Wisdom on Health and Healing will help you see yourself and your state of health from a higher perspective than you've likely ever imagined possible.

All the help that comes to us is from the Holy Spirit, whether it comes in a dream or through the help of a friend or a doctor. The trick is the discrimination you need: to tell what's good for you and what's not good for you. --- This comes by listening to your heart. Spiritual Wisdom on Health and Healing, p.3

"If you try to live in this world without cultivating love for God, you will be entangled more and more. You will be overwhelmed with its dangers, its griefs, and its sorrows. And the more you think of worldly things, the more you will be in need of them. Secure the oil of divine love, and then put thyself to the task of thine own duties of this world."   —Paul Twitchell, Stranger By the River, p.186
