Spiritual Wisdom from Sri Harold Klemp, Spiritual Leader of ECKANKAR*

I can give you truth. I can give you the word HU. I can show you techniques. But the factor that will make it work or not is your self-discipline. Are you going to spend time each day opening yourself to the Holy Spirit? Are you going to do it with love and with a passion? Are you going to put your whole mind and heart into this? "If so, you are going to make progress in life. You are going to find that the mysteries of today are no longer mysteries tomorrow."
— Harold Klemp,
How the Inner Master Works
, Mahanta Transcripts, Book 12, p. 91

Featured Seminar Speaker, Rodney Jones

Rodney is a long-time member of the Eckankar Clergy. He is a speaker and ECK writer who for many years has given openhearted and inspiring talks around the world on all things spiritual. Welcome to RodneyJones.com

In Rodney‘s words, "The deepest keys to the mysteries of life are not found in dusty books hidden deep within old library bookshelves. The deepest keys to the mysteries of life are found within your own life, in the many ways that you and God meet in secret. They are found in the deepest desires of your heart, in joy overflowing, in tears, salty and sweet, that wash the eyes of Soul clean, so that it may draw closer to God."
Rodney is a professor at both the Juilliard and Manhattan Schools of Music. His fields of study are jazz guitar and jazz ensembles. He also celebrates a long, distinguished career as a professional musician, composer, producer, and music director. But at the heart of it all, Rodney stresses that Sound is the creating and sustaining force in the universe. "Music is an expression of the Inner Sound that has been known to all of the world’s religions in one form or another. We know that life energy as the ECK (Divine Spirit)."

How ECKANKAR Seminars Enrich Lives

Here is what some people have had to say about why they like to attend Eckankar seminars. See if any apply to your interests.

Growth: "When I come home from an Eckankar seminar, I know I've grown spiritually. That's what I'm looking for."

Sense of Community: "There's camaraderie, fellowship, and enhanced friendships with spiritually like-minded individuals. And I sure like the Saturday night dance / get-together!"

"ECK seminars … are a way to fulfill our sense of community and to grow. We gather together to learn from each other and see how the Holy Spirit works through us and through others, back and forth. The interaction helps uplift us spiritually."
— Harold Klemp,
The Drumbeat of Time, Mahanta Transcripts, Book 10, pp. 63–64

Divine Love: "To me it's all about Divine Love. It's about how I can become a part of it and it a greater part of me. I can feel the great love at these seminars. They open my heart!"

Validating Truth by Experience: "I like to hear others talk about their spiritual experiences so I can see how mine fit in. Plus, I find spiritual truth being revealed in ways that I can personally validate with my own experience. I like that!"

Chanting HU: "I love to experience chanting HU with many people at once."

Learning New Spiritual Exercises: "I learn new spiritual exercises every time I attend a seminar."

Questions Answered: "There is so much wisdom there … in the talks and in the people. My deepest life questions have been answered. At one time I didn't know where to go for answers."

Time for a Refreshing Break: "A seminar is a wonderful break from the everyday distractions of life. I learn new ways to live 'everyday spirituality' and recharge my spiritual batteries. An entire weekend! It's great being ‗n the flow.'"

And for Members …
Giving Back to Life:
"The membership meeting helps me learn practical, respectful ways to share with others what Divine Spirit has blessed me with over the years. What a thrill to share my gift! For the same reasons, I also enjoy serving as a volunteer at seminars."
